SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-321/87-31 AND 50-366/87-31
Thank you for your response of July 5,1988, to our Notice of Violation
issued on May 31, 1988, concerning activities conducted at your Hatch facility.
We have evaluated your response to Violation A and have concluded that your
response clarifies our concerns.
This violation will be deleted from our
records and no additional response is required.
We have evaluated your response to Violation B. reg (arding inadequate post
maintenance testing on the _ Reactor Water Cleanup
RWCU) system inboard
isolation valve 1G31-F001 on December 25, 1984, and found that it meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the implementation of your
corrective actions during future inspections.
We have evaluated your response to Violation B regarding post modification-
testing after installing a- 45 second time delay in the RWCU system high
differential flow isolation logic.
Your response clarifies our concerns.
This part of Violation B will be deleted from our records and no additional
response is required.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
