SUBJECT: REPORT NOS. 50-416/85-44 AND 50-417/85-08
On December 2-13, 1985, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Operating
License No. NPF-29 and Construction Permit No. CPPR-119 for your Grand Gulf
.
facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with-
.those members of your staff identified in the enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified .in the report. Within these
areas,. the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities
in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were' identified.
Your attention is directed to the exercise weaknesses identified in Appendix A,
attached herein.
Your attention is also directed to the corrective actions
committed to by you in response to the above, as discussed during your meeting
with NRC Regional Management, held in Region II on December 13, 1985.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of 1 Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this ' letter and its enclosure
will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
