In accordance with your application dated June 14, 1988, and pursuant to Title 10. Code of Federal Regulations Part 70, Materials License No. SNM.778 is hereby amended to authorize the following:
- 1. The performance of repairs cnd modifications to radioactive and contaminated components as specifies in Section 1.7.3 of the license application,
- 2. Laundry operations
- 3. Revision of surface survey frequency in snack c.rs and vending machine areas in the unrestricted areas.
Accordingly, Condition 9 of Materials License No. SNM-778 is revised to include the date of June 14, 1988. In addition, the authorization of laundry operations is subject to the following condition:
Condition 15. The entire laundry system shall be limited to one safe mass unit as defined in Section 4.2.2 for Building B.
All other conditions of this license shall remain the sae.
The above condition was discussed with and agreed to by your Mr. Arne Olsen on August 5, 1988.
Amendment No. 5 to License No. SNM-778 and our Safety Evaluation Report are enclosed.
