B. Robinson t!uclear Power Plant Attached is one copy of the Exercise Report for the October 6,198.7, full participation joint exercise of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans for the H. B. Pobinson fluclear Powr Plant, 'Ihe plant is. located approximately 5 miles northwest of Hartsville, South Carolina.

We State of South Carolina, and Chesterfield, Darlington, and tee Counti'es, which are located in the 10-mile plume emergency planning zone, part!.cipated in this exercise. We exercise report, dated January 6,1988, was prepared by Region IV of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEfR) and includes the ccTients resulting fran the Regional Assistance Comnittee review.

W ere were no deficiencies identified as a result of this exercise. We report identifies five areas requiring corrective action in Section III, as well as several areas reccrmended for improvement in Section IV. FENA Region IV staff will furnish a copy of this exercise report to the State of South Carolina and request a schedule of corrective actions. Region IV will assure completion by the State of the necessary corrective actions.

Ibsed on the results of the exercise, the South Carolina State and local offsite. radiological emergency plans and preparedness remain adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of an accident at the !!. B. Robinson tiuclear Pcuer Plant and the 44 CFR 350 approval granted on Decmber 28, 1981, remains in effect.
