Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362, Amendment Application Nos. 172 and 158, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 Enclosed are Amendment Application Nos.180 and 166 to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-10 and NPF-15, respectively, for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS); Units 2 and 3, respectively.
These amendment applications consist of Proposed Change Number 493 (PCN-493).
PCN-493 is a request to revise Technical Specification 3.4.10, " Pressurizer Safety Valves," Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) Pressurizer Safety Valve (PSV) by increasing the as found PSV setpoint tolerances.
The associated Technical Specification Bases changes are included for information only.
PCN-493 is contingent upon NRC approval of PCN-470 (reference).
Additionally, the results of reanalysis of the affected Updated Final Safety

Analysis Report-(UFSAR) Chapter 15 safety analyses events are also provided for information only in the form of proposed UFSAR Chapter 15 changes, Approval of this Technical Specification change is requested by February 1, l
1999 for use during the upcoming Cycle 10 refueling outages.
