Mr. Brian W. Sheron Nuclear ReFulatory Commission 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville,MD 20852 Re:
Utility Support for Thermal Power Uprates Based Upon Improved Feedwater Flow Measurement with LEFMV Systems
Dear Brian:
l In recent discussions with Malcolm Philips and Jim Curtiss, you expressed an interest in l
the extent oflicensee support for the Thermal Power Uprate based upon Caldon's LEFMV Systems.
. In response, I have enclosed copies ofletters of support from licensees which were sent to the NRC during the past year. In these letters, licensees have expressed their intentions to follow the approval of the concept with their own license requests.
Should you have any questions regarding the current status of the utility support, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely, S,
<~
