RENEWAL OF THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE N0. R-2 The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued Amendment No. 23 to Facility Operating License No. R-2 for the Pennsylvania State University nuclear reactor in response to the application for renewal dated March 1, 1985, as supplemented. This amendment renews the operating license for twenty years from its date of issuance.
In accordance with our practice, we have restated the license in its entirety, incorporating all the changes and amendments made since the issuance of the original license.
Enclosed with the amended license is a copy of the Notice of Renewal that is being sent to the office of the Federal Register for publication, the Environmental Assessment, and the Safety Evaluation Report (NUREG-1158) associated with the renewal.
