50-424 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The V. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (Comission) has issued Amendment No.
7 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-68, issued to Georgia Power Company, Oglethorpe Power Corporation, Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, and City of Dalton, Georgia (the licensee) which revised the Technical Specifi-cations for operation of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 1, located in Burke County, Georgia. The amendment was effective as of the date of its issuance.
The amendment modified the Technical Specifications to revise the volume limits for the containment spray additive tank.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and require-cents of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment and Opportunity for Hearing in connection with this action was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on April 4, 1988 (53 FR 10959). No request for a hearing or petition for leave to intervene was filed following the notice.

7590-01 The Comission has prepared an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact related to the action and has determined not to prepare an environinent impact statement. Based upon the Environmental Assessment, the Connission has ' concluded that the issuance of this amendment will not have a significant effect on the quality of the human environinent.
For further details with respect to the action see (1) the application for amendrnent dated February 4,1988,(2) Amendment No.
7 to License No. NPF-68, and (3) the Connission's related Safety Evaluation and Environmental Assessment. All of these items are available for public inspection at the Comission's Public Document Roeni,1717 H Street, N.W., and and at the Burke County Library, 412 Fourth Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830.
