REPORT N05. 50-269/85-28, 50-270/85-28, AND 50-287/85-28
Thank you for your response of November 14, 1985, to our Notice of Violation
issued on October 17, 1985, concerning activities conducted under NRC Operating
License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47 and DPR-55 at your Oconee facility.
After careful consideration of the basis for your denial of Violation A, we have
concluded, for the reasons presented in the enclosure to this letter, that the
violation occurred as stated in the Notice of Violation.
Therefore, in
accordance with 10 CFR 2.201(a), please submit to this office within 30 days of
the date of this letter a written statement describing steps which have been
taken to correct Violation A and the results achieved, corrective steps which
will be taken to avoid further violations, and the date when ful' compliance will
be achieved.
We have evaluated your responses to Violations B and C and found that they do not
meet the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201 for the reasons presented in the enclosure
to this letter. We request that you submit to this office within 30 days of the
. date cf this letter a written statemerit describing corrective steps which will be
taken to avoid violations similar to Violations B and C and the date when full
compliance will be achieved.
The response directed by this letter is not subject to the clearance procedures
of the Office of Management and Budget under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980,
PL 96-511.
