APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Philadelphia Electric Company Docket Nos.
50-277 & 50-278 Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station License Nos. DPR-44 & DPR-56 During an NRC inspection conducted on February 29 through March 3,1988, a violation of NRC requirements was identified. In accordance with the "General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions",10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C (Enforcement Policy 1987), the violation is listed below:

Contrary to the above, the licensee did not maintain documentation of the 1983 annual emergency preparedness audit, did not perform an annual audit during 1985, and did not report the results of the 1986 annual audit to appropriate corporate and plant management.
This is a Severity Level IV Violation (Supplement Vill)
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201 Philadelphia Electric Company is hereby required to subtnit to this office wIthin 30 days of the date of the letter transmitting this Notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including:
- 1) the reasons for the violations, if admitted; (2) the corrective s(teps which have been taken and the results achie the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations; an date when full compliance will be achieved. Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending this response time.
