Dear Mr. Papanic:
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.112 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee) in response to your application 'f March 23, 1988.
The amendment modifies the Technical Specifications by changing the shutdown margin switching temperature from 490*F to 470*F.
In addition, a typographical error and tht inadvertent ommission of a previously approved surveillance requirement are corrected.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. A Notice of Issuance has been forwarded to the Federal Register for publication.
