Solicitation No. RS-A$8-87-342 Entitled, "NRC Headquarter's Stenographic Reporting Services (Excluding the In-Town Requirements of the Commissioners' Offices)"
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.301, your bid submitted in response to the subject solicitation has been determined to be nonresponsive as it did not comply in all material respects to the requiren nts of the solicitation. The solicitation prescribed a minimum bid acceptance period of 90 days and required the submission of a bid guarantee of no less than 20% of the bid price. Based upon the bid opening date of July 6,1987 and the bid acceptance period indicated in Block 12 of the solicitation, your bid is in effect through October 4, 1987. The bid guarantee submitted in the form of an irrevocable letter of credit expires September 30, 1987, which is four days short of the bid acceptance period.
Accordingly, as the bid guarantee does not coexist with the mandatory bid acceptance period, your bid will not be further considered for award.
