Subject NRC Inspection This refers to the routine safety inscection conducted by Messrs. J. F. Pang and D. Skov of this office on July 22, 1981 of activities authorized by NRC License No. 46-6377-01 and to the discussion of our findings held by Messrs. Pang and Skov with Dr. H. Groninger and Dr. E. Gauglitz, Jr.
at the conclusion of the ins:ection.
The ir.soection was an enminaticn of the activities cenducted under y0ur license as they relate to radiation s:fety and to ccm:liance with t'e Ccmission's rules and resulttions anc tne cceditions of ycur licer.se.
The irsrection cer.sisted of selective encinations of Or cedures and recresentative records, inte.~/iews with cersonnel ar.d obsar/atiens ty the ir.spectors.
During this instection, it was found that cartain of your activities asceared to be in ncncer:pliance with NRC recuirements. The items a-d references to the pertinent requirments are listed in Appendix A.
These iterns have been categcrized into severity levels as described in the Federal Register Notice (45 FR 66754) dated October 7,1980.
Your response to this notice is to be submitted in accordance with the T provisions of 10 CFR 2.201 as stated in Apcendix A, Notice of Violation.
