This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. R. Winters of
this offi'ce on February 8-12, 1988 at the Beaver Valley Power Station,
.
Unit 1 in Shippingport, Pennsylvania.'Mr. Winters discussed the results of the
inspection with Mr. J. Crockett of your staff at the conclusion of the
. inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selected examinations of-procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
