SUBJECT: REPORT NOS. 50-424/88-18 AND 50-425/88-20
Thank you for your response of June 22, 1988 and June 23,1988, to our
Notice of Violation issued on May 26, 1988, concerning activities conducted
at your Vogtle facility under NPF-68 and CPPR-109, and the subsequent
telephone discussion held between
J. A. Edwards of your staff and
W. P. Kleinsorge and C. A. Patterson of this office.
We have evaluated your
responses and found that the June 23, 1988, letter addressing Unit 2 meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the irrplementation of your
corrective actions during future inspections.
It is our understanding that you will provide a supplemented response, amending

the June 22, 1988, letter addressing Unit 1, to this office by July 29, 1988.
