8 OPERATOR ACTIONS l
f f
If while executing the following steps turbine building HVAC is shutdown (or isolated due to high radiation), restart t
turbine building HVAC, defeating isolation ir.terlocks if nacessary.
SNPS PSTG Step:
OPERATOR ACTIONS
<l If while executing the following steps turbine building HVAC
~
is shutdown or in the recirculation mode, restart tutoine building HVAC, and d' rect its discharge to the station ventilation exhaust.
Justification for Differences / References Tha SNPS Turbine Building HVAC system does not isolate on high radiation or any other cccident signal. As long as normal power is available, the HVAC system will continue to-operate after an accident. The system may be operated in the recirculation mode during plant shutdown, during which it does not discharge to the station vent.
If this were the case upon entry into this guideline, direction la added as to how the systsa is to be realigned from that mode.
Turbine Building HVAC system: FSAR section 9.4.4 and SP 23.419.01.

-EPG Step:
RR-2 When offsite radioactivity release rate approaches or exceeds the offsite release rate which requires a General Emergency but only if a primary system ir discharging into an area outside the primary and secondary containments, FMERGENCY RPV DEPRESSURIZATION IS. REQUIRED; enter [ procedure developed from the RPV Control Guideline] at (Step RC-1] and execute it concurrently with this procedure.
