at 3:30 p,p., ard.by -telecopier on Thursday, October 18,1973 at 9:10 a.n, SITUATION: During surycillence testing of F2. containment sprsy systen, the opemtor ossj2nell to visually check the systes noticed water issuing i from under the Hy. insulation. He called the Shift Forenan who cado a closer cxaminstfon and discovered the water ceing frog, the servipe water relief valve nippio.

CAUSE: The cause appears to be corronNn of' the nipple.

l RDEDIAL ACTJON: .

"lho system was shutdown. and the redundant systen tested. At pre-

.sent, the system is being drained and tagged to make repairs as found necessitry.
