Gentlemen:
This refers to the enforcement conference held at Region IV's request in the
NRC Region.IV office on March 21, 1988, which was attended by you and other
representatives ~of the Omaha Public Power District.
This conference was held
to discuss recent inspection findings (Inspection Report No. 50-285/88-05),
the apparent violations, and the applicable NRC enforcement policy.
The subjects discussed at this conference are described in the enclosed
meeting summary.
It is our opinion that this enforcement conference was beneficial and has
provided a better understanding of cne NRC regulatory requirements as they
relate to your reactor program.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's
"Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of
this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
