This letter transmits the details of the enforcement conference held on
Februa ry 12. 1988 in the Region I Office, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania to
discuss the findings of Inspection Report No. 50-311/87-29.
The topics discussed at that conference ielate to the findings identified
during the inspection conducted to assess the Salem Unit 2 ability for safe
shutdown in the event of a fire.
A reply to this letter is not required. You
will be notified of our evaluation of appropriate enforcement actions at a
later date.
