JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PIAVf UNIT 1 NARRATIVE SW NARY OF OPERATIONS June, 1988 On June 10, there was a significant power reduction when power was reduced to replace the IC condensate pump upper sleeve bearing. The unit returned to full power operation on June 13.

On June 20, the generator _ was taken off line at 0044 to repair a reactor

coolant system (RCS) leak from a flow ' rifice flange on the ' A' loop resistance temperature detector (RfD) manifold. ' The gaskets were replaced and the unit returned to power operation at 2330 on June 20.

ne following major safety-related maintenance was perfonned in the month of June:

1. A load test was perfonned on the 1A battery charger.
2. n e component cooling water to lube oil cooler flanges were replaced on the 1A, 1B, and 1C charging pumps.
3. The turbine driven auxiliary feedwater plunp overspeed setpoint was changed.
4. The 1C battery charger breaker cell suitch and pole shaft inspecfions were perfonned.
5. Miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance was perfonned on the diesel generators.

I JOSEPli M. FARLEY NUCLFAR PIMP UNIT 1 NARRATIVE SUMARY OF OPERATIONS June, 1988 On June 10, there was a significant power reduction when power was reduced to replace the 1C condensate pump upper sleeve bearing. The unit returned to full power operation on June 13.
