O APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Massachusetts Institute of Technology Docket No. 50 ?0 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on September 27-29, 1978, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full compliance with the conditions of your license as indicated below. This item is a Deficiency.
Technical Specification 7.5.2, "MIT Reactor Safeguards Committee," states in part, "(f) Meeting frequency: Meetings shall be no less frequently than annually, or as required by circumstances."
Contrary to the above, Reactor Safeguards Committee Meeting Nos. 57 and 58 were conducted July 12, 1977 and September 6,1978, an interval in excess of 12 months.
