L RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 80-13 I
EXAMINATION OF CORE SPRAY "YSTEM SPARGERS Gentlemen:
k IE Bulletin 80-13 requires that examinations of the core spray spargers and in-vessel core spray piping be made during each refueling outage.
The results of these inspections are to be submitted to the NRC within 30 days of completing the examinations.
In accordance with IE Bulletin 80-13, a visual inspection (Periodic Test 90.1) of the core spray spargers and in-vessel core spray piping of the s
Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Unit 2 was completed February 15, 1988.
Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) has not yet received a final copy of the contractor report evaluating the core spray piping inspections.
There fore, CP&L will submit the inspection results by March 30, 1988.
