By letter dated October 8, 1987, Duke Power Company submitted WCAP-11581 "Tubesheet Regicn Plugging Criterion for the Duke Power Company Catawba 1 Nuclear Station Steam Generators," and requested that it be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790. Also included with their submittal was your affidavit dated September 16, 1987.
You stated that the submitted information should be considered exempt from mandatory public disclosure for the following reasons:
1.
The information sought to be withheld from public disclosure iG owned and has been held in confidence by Westinghouse.
2.
The information is of a type customarily held in confidence by Westinghouse and not customarily disclosed to the public.
3.
The information was transmitted to the Commission in confidence.
4.
The information is not available in public sources.
5.
Public disclosure of this information is likely to caust substantial harm to the competitive position of Westinghouse.
We have reviewed your application and the material in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.790 and, on the basis et your statements, have determined that the submitted information sought to be withheld contains trace secrets or proprietary cor'ercial information.
