The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.114 to Facility Operating License No. OPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your -

application dated February 19, 1988.

The amendment updates the reactor coolant system pressure-temperature limits for heatup and cooldown to reflect the new fluence prediction developed and the more limiting chemistry factor associated with the 3-410 weld.

A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next Bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
