Quality Assurance Program for transportation of spent nuclear fuel from MSU Triga nuclear reactor.
Pursuant to 10CFR 71.101, we are hereby submitting for your approval the MSU Quality Assurance Program.
It is our intention to implement this program during the defueling and transportation of fuel from the MSU reactor utilizing the Cintichem BM1-1 cask (Certificate of Compliance NO. 5957).
It is our opinion that the BMI-l cask is arsumed to have been fabricated and assembled in accordance with a Quality Assurance Program which complies with 71.101 (as indicated in paragraph 71.101 (e)).
Your assistance in reviewing this Program would be greatly appreciated.
Present plans call for fuel transportation to be accomplished during August, 1988.
