about me talking to the Brattleboro Reformer on 10/26? On the DG's; I would put it like; the vernon tie is not equivalent to a DG. Example: no monthly load testing of the tie line. Another: Vy is saying that the line has a very high degree of reliability-histrorically. What they base that on, is they can detect voltage, not testing under load monthly. An interesting other question; I think NE electric is putting the Vernon Dam up for sale. How will the new owners' maintain the Dam and agreements with Vermont Yankee? Maybe VY should control the Dam now.
