Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, and Southern California Public Power Authority, to withdraw the December 26, 1986 application for a proposed anendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-51, which authorizes operationofthePaloVerdeNuclearGenerating!tation(PVNGS), Unit 2, located i
t in Maricopa County, Arizona.
The proposed amendment would have revised Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement 4.7.9.b to postpone the first inservice visual inspection of 25 snubbers in the contairrent spray system until the first refueling outage. Subsequent to the submittal of this request, APS decided to perform the visual inspection of these 25 snubbers during the PVNGS Unit 2 outage in January and February of 1987.
