s By letters dated October 30,1975, June 2,1977, February 10, 1977 and September 11, 1978, you reported the results of the augmented main steam isolation va've (MSIV) leakage surveillance program at Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS).
The augmented surveillance program and reporting requirements are described in Supplement No.1 to the CNS Safety Evaluation Report, dated July 16, 1973, and in our letter to you dated July 27, 1973.
We have evaluated the information you have provided and* concluded, based on the test results to date, that midcycle MSLIV leak testing is no longer required.
A copy of our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
