SCHEDULE FOR RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The April 8, 1987 letter from TVA to S. Ebneter stated that the additional information requested concerning the Human Factors Program and isolation devices for the BFN SPDS would be provided by February 1988. BFN is currently in the process of selecting a vendor to provide an integrated computer system (ICS) to replace the existing plant process computer (PPC). SPDS is an integral part of the ICS and will be included in the design of the ICS.
Due to the complexity of the bid process and vendor selection, final SPDS design information is not presently available. TVA will provide the requested additional information for these two items by September 22, 1988.
The design, installation, and testing of the ICS will not impact the previously submitted BFN SPDS implementation schedule, Please refer any questions concerning this submittal to M. J. May, BFN Site Licensing, (205) 729-3570.
