EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 2 (TAC 62897)
This letter confinns the dates April 11 to 15,1988 for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection at Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2.
These dates were established during telephone conversations with Mr. F. Lipchik of your staff. We will discuss the logistics of the inspection in detail with your staff, i
A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on April 11, 1986 at the plant site. A managenent exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on April 15, 1988, also at the plant site. A plant walkdown inspection of equipnent is tentatively planned for April 13, 1988.
The inspection will include the following:
1.
Review of your implenentation of a 10 CFR 50.49 program including preservation of the qualified status of qualified equipment.
2.
Review of your implenentation of EQ corrective action comitments (See Safety Evaluatico Report and Supplenents 1-6).
3.
Review of EQ documentation 'ilas.
4.
Physical inspection of selected equipment.
