Public Service Company of Oklahoma, in order to optimize construction of its Islack Fox Nuclear Project as well as assure continuity in its geotechnical mapping program, hereby requests additional authorization to perform non-safety ,

related work under the Limited Work Authorization dated July 26, 1978 as amended l September 6, 1978.

Specifically, we request that the original authorization dated July 26, 1978 (Roger S. Boyd to T. N. Ewing) he changed as underlining below denotes:

1. Excavations

1. Excavate to final depth for Unit 1 and Unit 2 foundation installation which will include mapping of excavation slopes.

2. Pour excavation seal for Unit 1 and Unit 2, which will consist of a 6" coat of lean concrete mix of at least 2000 psi strength. It will '

function as a seal to prevent deterioration of the exposed excavation surface.

3. Drill for ECCS and RilR pump caissons for the auxiliary building of Unit 1 and Unit 2 and install steel cylindrical caissons.
