Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/335 Operating License No. HPF-12 Security Regulatory Effectiveness Review, March 3-7, 1986 Gentlemen:
In a letter to the NRC Staff, dated October 8, 1987, South Carolina Electric
& Gas Company (SCE&G) indicated that a RWST area modification would be completed by 4th Refueling, which is scheduled for completion in December, 1988. As discussed with Mr. B. T. Mendelsohn, Mr. R. B. Manili and Mr. D. R.
McGuire of RII on March 10, 1988, the initial design scope for this modification has been completea; however, due to recent security scheduling considerations, the field modification completion date has been rescheduled to June 30, 1989.
