Systee, Concept:
The Emergency Response Data system concept is a direct electronic data line to the electronic data systems of nuclear power facilities for use only during emergencies at the facilities.
The data to be transmitted would be a limited oct eioat likcly available on the existing eneen gensy data Lumputwn dL Litw blLub.
HR0 would accept the data in the transmission format and at the update frequency most convenient to the licensee and the licensee would control activation of the system.
Current Status:
An EROS Requirements Analysis is currently in progress primarily being conduct 4J by a contractor.
The requireeents analysis effort consists of visits to the licenaces by NAC staff to ref1gst agency policy and try sunLiestur nLeff tu determine the design of the data systems on site and the availability of the data to be provided to the NRC.
A system design will be developed as well as detailed equipment specificatier.. and cost estimates.
The site visits have been completed and a system design report is expected in February 1987.
