The purpose of this letter is to correct the record regarding an error made in issuing Certificate Amendment Number 1 for the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant. The '
amendment was transmitted to you by a letter, signed by Carl J. Paperiello, which was incorrectly dated February 4,1997. That letter should have been dated February 27, 1997, which was the date the revised certificate was signed by Dr. Paperiello. Since the revised certificate was correctly dated it does not need to be reissued.
