The Consnission has filed the enclosed "Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to Facility Operating License and Opportunity for Hearing" with the Office of the Federal Retister for publication. This notice relates to your request of December 24, 1587, to amend the Technical Specifications to Operating Licenses DPR-39 and DPR-48 for Zion Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2. The amendments would revise the provisions of the Technical i Specifications to allow steam generator tubes to be repaired by utilizing '
