SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT, LICENSE AMENDMENT APPLICATION DATED NOVEMBER 12, 1987, (SUBMITTED BY LETTER DATED DECEMBER 3, 1987), RE CORPORATE OWNERSHIP BACKGROUND ANFC was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens Capital Corporation, a Delaware corporation. A realignment of Siemens Corporation has ANFC owned by a subsidiary of Siemens.
Other administrative changes were made to reflect NRC changes and to make corrections to the license renewal applice +. ion of July 1987.
DISCUSSION ANFC ir. now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens KWU, Inc., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemans Capital Corporation. All three companies are Delaware corporations. The financial responsibility for decommissioning remains with Siemens Capital Corporation.
Other changes of an administrative nature are:
a.
Revision of the "Guidelines for Decontamination..." and placing authorization to use the guidelines in Section 1.6.8.
b.
Instrument sensitivity values in Table 1-3.1 were corrected.
CONCLUSION / RECOMMENDATION The staff concludes that the proposed changes in the license will have no adverse effect on the risk to the public health and safety. Approval of the application is recommended, pggg g
