These materials were placed in two 17H 55-gallon drums and packed with vermiculite. The drums were consigned to Teledyne Iso-topes for transmittal to U. S. Ecology Inc. (Licence No. 16-19204-01) for ultimate disposal at the U. S. DOE Benton County, Washington burial site.

SUMMARY
OF RADIATION SURVEY Wipe tests of approximately 10 cm. x 10 cm areas were made with filter paper. Each filter paper was placed in a liquid scintillation vial, l
cocktail solution added, and the vials were counted for 3 - 10 minute inter-vals. Attachment 6 shows the areas in the relevant labs and the attic fans associated with the laboratory hoods. Average cpm data are shown for each location and dpm values were arrived at by using a conservative 10% ccunting efficiency.
In all cases, the dpm values were below the. removable levels and con-siderably below the average levels as defined in Table 1 of NRC Guidelines for Decontamination of Facilities and Equipment Prior to Release for Unrestricted Use or Termination of Licenses for Byproduct, Source, or Special Nuclear Material.
