SALEM ATWS ITEM 1.2 - POST-TRIP REVIEW (DATA AND INFORMATION CAPABILITY)
Re:
Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2 By letter dated November 5,1983, Commonwealth Edison Company responded to our Generic Letter 83-28 regarding actions to be taken because of generic implications of Salem ATWS events. Your response was reviewed by our contractor, who prepared a technical evaluation report (TER) on the applicable portions of your response. The TER was discussed with members of your staff by telephone calls made August 9 and 13, 1985.
Following these discussions you provided further clarifying information by letter dated December 19, 1985.
Based upon our review of the information provided in your submittals, and the TER prepared by our contractor, we conclude that your post-trip review data and information capabilities for Quad Cities Units 1 and 2 are acceptable.
Our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
This concludes our review of the Salem ATWS Item 1.2, Post-trip Review (Data and Information Capability).
