Big Rock Point Plant j

During the Big Rock Point Plant (the facility) 1985 refueling outage, several facility modifications required by Appendix R to 10 CFR Part 50 were completed. Specifically, the Alternate Shutdown System, Radiant Energy Shields, and Associated Circuit requirements have been reported as completed as described in Issue A-075A, B, and C respectively, of the Integrated Plan Semi-Annual Update No. 4 dated February 28, 1986, j

Specific configurations for the above mentioned facility modifications, i

including new structures, instrumentation and cabling, shielding, and l

associated plant procedures will be inspected and reviewed for compliance to the requirements of Appendix R to 10 CFR Part 50. The inspection will be conducted by NRC staff in Region III. Any findings or open items resulting from these inspections, will be carried as issues requiring further action as documented in the Region III Inspection Report. Except for the facility Alternate Shutdown System Technical Specifications, (TAC 59800), licensing activity for TAC 55067 and 55075 is considered complete.
