Our letter dated July 16, 1985, requested the $150 application fee for your exigent application dated April 4,1985 (Proposed Change 85-03), requesting temporary relief from Technical Specification 3.7.D.2 for Pilgrim. At that time, we realized that the application was withdrawn on May 1,1985. How-ever, under 10 CFR 170.12 the $150 application fee, as well as any other costs for time expended for the review, is chargeable.
While members of your staff informed us that the application was verbally withdrawn on April 8,1985, based on data contained in the manpower reporting system and on other information provided by the NRC review staff, a total of 29 hours3.356481e-4 days <br />0.00806 hours <br />4.794974e-5 weeks <br />1.10345e-5 months <br /> were expended on your urgent application of April 4, 1985. As such, by copy of this letter, we are asking the Office of Resource Management to bill your Company for the sum of $1,798 for it.
