Docket No. 50-206 Special Report San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 Pursuant to Section 3.14.B.2.b of Appendix A, Technical Specifications to provisional Operating License DPR-13 for San Onofre Unit 1, this submittal provides the required Special Report for inoperable Fire Spray System.
-On December 26, 1985, with Unit 1 in a refueling outage, the Containment Fire Spray System was removed from service to facilitate maintenance of Containment Sphere Spray Header Isolation Valve CV-92. A continuous fire watch and backup fire suppression equipment, pursuant to Technical Specification 3.14.B.2.a, were established before the Cor,tainment Spray System was removed from service. Compensatory measures will be maintained until planned work associated _with CV-92 is completed, and the Containment Spray System is returned to service. The Containment Spray System will be retrned to service during the current refueling outage scheduled to end in May, 1986.
