JOSEPH M. FAP1EY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 2 NARRATIVE SIM4ARY OF OPERATIONS January, 1986 During the month of January, there was one unit shutdown which occurred on 1-17-86.
A turbine trip was initiated manually following the loss of both steam generator feed pumps (SGFPs). This caused an automatic reactor trip.
The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of January:

Miscellaneous corre.:tive and preventive maintenance was performed on the diesel generators.
