information. This notice relates to your application dated May 5,1997, for )

l amendment to the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3, licenses.

In your application, you request staff review and approval of a modification I to the facility, as described in the safety analysis report, that involves an unreviewed safety question. The modification will install replacement suction strainers for Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) pumps.

The original of this notice has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
