Dear Ms. Cunningham:
This is in response to your letter dated March 18, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA) copies of draft and final letters from the NRC to Rep. Edward Markey concerning the Grand Gulf 1 nuclear power plant.
In a telephone conversation with Natalie Brown of my staff on March 26, 1985, you narrowed the scope of your request to include only those letters to Rep.
Markey dated between January 1983 and March 18, 1985.
The documents identified c 7 enclosed Appendix A are being placed in the NRC Public Docurent Room (PDR) located at 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC ?0555, in file folder F01A-85-186 in your name. There is no charge for inspecting records maintained at the PDR. We are enclosino a copy of a notice that provides charges and procedures for obtaining copies of records from the PDR.
The search for and review of records subject to your request have not been completed. As soon as the search and review are completed, we will notify you.
