Subject: Combined Inspection Nos. 50-317/85-33 and 50-318/85-33
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. S. Kucharski
of this offise on November 18-25, 1985, at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power
Plant Units 1 and 2, Lusby, Maryland, of activities authorized by NRC
License Nos. OPR-53 and DPR-69 and to the discussions of our findings held
by Mr. L. Russell of your staff with Mr. Kucharski of this office at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and repre-
sentative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
insr3Ctor.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
