This refers to your November 4,1985, response to our Notice of Violation and
Notice of Deviation issued March 15,198b, concerning the activities author-
ized under NRC operating License Nos. NPF-9 and NPF-17 for McGuire Nuclear
Station, Units 1 and 2.
The two technical analyses which were submitted to further support your denial of
Violation IV have been referred to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for
review. Therefore, upon completion of NRR's review, the outstanding issues
associated with Violation IV will be dispositioned accordingly.
