This refers to your application dated February 23, 1976 for a byproduct material license for the possession, use, manufacture, and storage of irradiated semiconductor grade silicon in the form of rods or slices and the distribution of such to persons exempt.
l I have been informed that two licenses are going to be issued for your request - one for manufacturing and one for distribution.
The $50 fee that you submitted with the application of February 23, 1976, has been applied to your distribution request. The fee foi the manufacturing license is $1000 as specified in fee category 3B of Part 170, copy enclosed.
(This license, which has been prepared, will be issued upon receipt of the fee.) Payment should be made to the U.S. Nuclear Reguistory Commission and mailed to my attention.
