CONTAIINEENT SYSTEMS 3/4.6.3 COMMISTIBLE GAS CONTROL HYDROGEN MONITORS LIMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION 3.6.3.1 Two independent containment hydrogen monitors shall be OPERABLE.
APPLICABILITY: MODES 1 and 2 ACTION:
a.
With one hydrogen monitor inoperable, restore the inoperable monitor to OPERABLE status within 30 days or be in at least HOT STANDBY within the next 6 hours6.944444e-5 days <br />0.00167 hours <br />9.920635e-6 weeks <br />2.283e-6 months <br />.
I b.
With both hydrogen monitors inoperable, restore at least one monitor to OPERABLE status within 72 hours8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> or be in at least HOT STANDBY within the next 6 hours6.944444e-5 days <br />0.00167 hours <br />9.920635e-6 weeks <br />2.283e-6 months <br />.
l SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS 4.6.3.1 Each hydrogen monitor shall be demonstrated OPERABLE by the performance of the following:
a.
At least once per 31 days by performance of a FUNCTIONAL TEST on each mctitor by admitting a sample gas and verifying upscale indicator movement. Also, verify High Hydrogen alarm function on the Comsip
- monitor, b.
At least once per 92 days on a STAGGERED TEST BASIS by performing a CHANNEL CALIBRATION using sample gases containing a percentage of hydrogen, balance nitrogen that are appropriate for the analyzer being calibrated.
