We have received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) letter dated September 10, 1985, which included the revised schedule of corrective actions submitted by the State of Illinois for the recommendations identified for the State of Illinois and the Counties of Grundy, LaSalle, and Will as a result'of the exercise held on April 23, 1985, at your Dresden Nuclear Generating Station.
The exercise report was sent to you on August 30, 1985, from this office.
The FEMA Headquarters and Region V staff.have reviewed the schedule of corrective action submitted and have determined that the responses submitted were adequate.
We fully recognize that the recommendations to be implemented may involve actions by other parties and political institutions which are not under your direct control. Nonetheless, we would expect the subject of.offsite preparedness for the area around the Dresden Nuclear Generating Station to be addressed by you as well as others.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Da ument Room.
