SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE Docket No.

50-266 Unit Name Point Beach, Unit 1 Date March 5, 1986 Completed By C.

W.

Krause Tolophone 414/277-2001 Unit 1 operated at 497 MWo not thoughout the period with one significant load reduction.

On February 15, 1986, load was reduced to an average of 224 MWo not for 23 hours2.662037e-4 days
0.00639 hours
3.80291e-5 weeks
8.7515e-6 months
for turbine stop valve testing and repair of a steam leak on a one-inch pipe on the ilP turbine exhaust.

Primary-to-secondary steam generator leakage remains stable at a detectable rate.

Maintenance performed on the unit during the period includes repair of a leaky air hose which supplies air to the air-

~

operated main feed regulating valve for the "A" steam generator and repair of steam traps on the steam line which foods the IP29 steam driven auxiliary feedwater pump turbine.
